Wir freuen uns sehr, dieses Schuljahr acht Gäste aus dem europäischen Ausland bei uns zu haben. Hier stellen sie sich kurz selbst vor:

My name is Lucia Cavallo, I’m 16 years old and I’m from Italy.

What I’m most excited about is first of all meeting my host family in person, getting to know German traditions and establishing friendships with the students of the IFC class. Moreover I’m glad that I can improve my English skills during the lessons.
I’m also aware that there will be challenges for me. I think that, especially, during the first months, I’ll have difficulty in making myself understood, so there will be some language limits.

During this year abroad I expect above all to learn to look after myself and I also expect to enjoy every situation and experience I’m going to live.

Hey! My name’s Eleonora, I’m 16 years old and I come from Italy. I can’t wait anymore to start this adventure in the IFC!

I’m very excited thinking about all the new experiences I’ll face: new people, new cultures, new family and new places to visit in a new country!

Of course it will be challenging for me, I’m going to test myself out, I’m going to discover my strengths and my weaknesses, and I’ll study all the school subjects in a foreign language!

I have lots of good intentions for the next school year: I hope to increase my independence and my sense of responsibility, to be more open-minded, to broaden my language skills and to find my place in the world!

Hi, my name is Sofie and I´m 16 years old. I come from Denmark.

What am I most excited about this year? Where should I start, there are so many things. I´m excited to meet the people in the IFC class, to meet my host family, make new friends and studying in another country.

A journey doesn’t come without some challenges. I think my biggest challenge will be to study in English and to speak German. This year I hope to learn more about Germany and the German way of living, become more independent, make some great friends and memories and improve my language skills in German and English.

Hi I’m Nora, I’m 15 and I come from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

I’m most exited about meeting so many new people and getting to know them and their cultures.

My biggest challenge will be leaving all my friends and family behind for a year. I’m hoping to learn a lot more about Germany and I hope I’ll be able to speak a little bit German.

Hi, my name’s Zora but everyone calls me Zorka. I’m fourteen years old and in a few days I will turn fifteen. I’m from the Czech Republic and I’m looking forward to meeting my new classmates from different countries.

I’m super excited about meeting new people and trying out living abroad, discovering foreign cultures, getting others‘ point of view on current issues and exploring Germany.

My biggest challenge will definitely be staying in a host family for a whole year and learning in foreign languages. I’m hoping to learn more about other countries‘ cultures and about Germany as well.

My name is Emilie, I’m 14 years old and I come from France.

The things that I am most excited about this year is meeting my host family, the IFC team and my classmates.

My biggest challenge is to be away from my family.  I hope I have a better knowledge of German afterwards and discover new people.

Hello, my name is Adrián, I’m 15 years old and I come from Spain.

I’m really excited about meeting new people and meeting my host family.

I think that my biggest challenge will be the challenge of living in a different educational system with a different family and language. I’m really hoping to learn more about German culture, make new friends and to improve my idioms knowledge.

My name is Diego Sanchez Ruiz, I’m fifteen years old and I live in Spain.

I’m very excited to be able to live the experience of living a year abroad on my own, meet my host family and make new friends.

My biggest challenge would be the language barrier, but I hope to improve my language skills in German and English, and at the same time living a teaching methodology different from the one of my country.
